THE SCHOLAR SLIDE BY!

The Scholar Slide By is a mutual-aid program that provides grocery relief to families disproportionately effected by systemic negligence in Chicago.

The program began in summer of 2020, as a reaction to events occurring during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic (protests, riots, and CPS lunch cancellations). With over 300 donors, and 200+ volunteers, we have since been able to provide personalized grocery deliveries to over 500 families throughout Chicago since June 2020.
